How to create a party atmosphere How to Create a Party Atmosphere A party’s atmosphere is both important and critical. It is a special mood or character associated with a place. Being able to create great party atmospheres is in a way a form of art. It takes creativity, patience, planning, and knowing just what to use and how to use it. Everything doesn’t have to be hard or fancy either. Sometimes using simple ideas or items can make a big difference. Here are a few ideas that you can use to help create a party atmosphere at your next event. Lighting It does not matter if you are hosting it in your basement or in a fine rental hall. Lighting is very important and an often missed item. Whether you are using candles, tiki torches, or traditional lighting, be sure to have adequate light for your guests. Even more so, there are so many different types of balloon techniques out there that something as simple as a mug can be made in tons of different varieties. Here I will show a few different types of beer mugs, explain a little bit about their construction, and I will discuss some positives and negatives. Twisted Beer Mugs with Animal Balloons Firstly, a beer mug made of smaller twisting balloons. This can be as short as 1 foot high and has a limited shelf life as the twisting balloons don’t seem to hold air as long as the large round decorator balloons. These two examples are actually even smaller than that and show that, even on a small scale, techniques or overall look can be different. Yard Card Celebrations are great for Birthdays Mighty Morphin Power Rangers! Christopher was turning 4 and he had a dream of being visited by his all-time favorite super heroes, the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers! Though we could not get them to show up for this particular event, we were able to add a special greeting card from them in his yard card display. Why limit decor to just cupcakes and stars when you can add lightning bolts and special messages from our heroes? Colors are flexible too When it comes to a yard display, our clients want to make sure they are special for their subjects of honor. So, in this case, Christopher received a yard celebration display with his favorites colors of red and blue. The parents even added a couple of fun little balloon pieces at the end of the display as well.
